Behind the Scenes Tours
Reserve your spot in one of the Blank Park Zoo's exclusive behind the scenes tours. Each tour interacts with a different group of animals and their habitat. Spend one-on-one time with a zookeeper and have the chance to see some of your favorite animals up close.
All tours include admission. People age 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult. All participants on the tour must wear closed toed shoes for the entirety of the experience.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to tour will receive a full refund. Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to tour will not receive a refund and will be considered a donation to Blank Park Zoo.
Weather Policy
All tours may be postponed up to 2 hours prior to the start of the tour in the event of severe weather conditions. For the safety of guests and zoo staff, we reserve the right to postpone tours if the temperature or "feels like" temperature is below zero degrees on the day of the tour. All tours postponed by zoo staff will be rescheduled at no cost to participant.

Is admission included with the tour?
Where do I go and what time do I need to arrive?
You will need to be at the Membership desk 15 minutes prior to the start time of your tour. If the start time is before the Zoo opens, someone will meet you at the main entrance doors to let you in.
Can I take pictures?
Yes, you can take pictures during your tour. It is also a good idea to come with some questions to ask the keepers- they love to talk about the animals in their care!
How long is the tour?
On average, tours will last 30-45 minutes.
What do I wear?
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR CLOSED TOED SHOES. Dress for the weather and dress comfortably.
What if I need to cancel/reschedule my tour?
To receive a refund, tours must be cancelled 48 hours prior to your scheduled time. Some tours are weather dependent. If Blank Park Zoo cancels your tour, you may reschedule or receive a refund.
Should I still come if I don’t feel good?
No. Please call to reschedule your tour if you are feeling ill. Some illnesses can affect the safety and health of the animals.
Can I bring my service animal?
We do not allow service animals on Behind the Scenes tours.
