Ruby the Reading Red Panda will be visiting for special meet & greets on the following dates: January 4, 11, and 18, February 1, 8, and 22, March 1, 22, and 29. Guests can see her at the following times: 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 1:30.

Dates: Second Monday of each month at 11 a.m.
Cost: Free with a general admission ticket, no registration required.

Enjoy a world of books with Ruby the Reading Red Panda! Ruby is a puppet red panda who loves to read. Each month we will read a story and meet a special live ambassador animal from the Zoo’s Ambassador Animal Department. 2025, Ruby will learn about wild and domestic animals in ‘What Makes a Pet?’

Engage with us at home! Sign up for one of Ruby’s book clubs to receive a monthly e-newsletter full of animal information and activities. Club members also receive a birthday card from Ruby on your birthday. Registration is free.

Ruby’s Readers Book Club:

Ages: 2 - 7 years old
Cost: Free, registration required
